3.8 million, is the number of women in the United States diagnosed with breast cancer. And $100,000 is an average cost for the treatment of breast cancer (this does not include hotel stays or reconstruction). Michelle Apple founder of Apple Breast Cancer Warrior Foundation came by Youngstown Studio to talk with Lisa Resnick about her fight with breast cancer and the creation of her foundation to help others that experience her same struggles. Founded in 2019, she has already raised over $60,000 to help other women who are fighting her same battle. A true warrior, Michelle brings education, aid and awareness to a condition that we all have the potential to be afflicted with.
